Banks, Stubbs & McFarland is a family & criminal defence law firm based in the Metro Atlanta Area. Although their firm was well known across the state and had been doing incredible work for more than 20 years, they had never properly gone through the process of branding the firm. We worked directly with their partners to create a new brand identity and supporting documentation to modernize the look of their firm and prepare them for future growth.

We held an initial meeting with the partners to sit and listen to their ideas and thoughts on what they wanted to see in their brand. Following this meeting we designed four varied concepts to kick off the project. This initial direction sparked the internal conversation they needed to give us more concrete direction. Based upon this new information we were then able to create a new set of design concepts focusing on the use of a cypress tree.

Continuing with the momentum from our second round of concepts, we were able to quickly run through five more rounds of revisions and modifications giving us our final brand mark in grayscale. Then we began to work with our client to develop a palette that complemented the design of the finalized brand mark. 

After we finalized their brand mark typography and colour palette, we wrote and designed their set of styling guidelines and branding standards. We created their official documentation and delivered the finished branding package to the client with complete with vector and raster versions of their brand mark and all associated fonts.
